Taiwan is situated at the region where typhoons emerge, so we have been hit by 47 typhoons in the past decade i.e. 4.7 typhoons per year based on the National Fire Agency, Ministry of the Interior data and cannot underestimate the damage caused by typhoons in addition to the consequences of extreme climate such as the severe disasters including creek floods, rainfall floods, seawater intrusion and landslides.

To make the products resistant to typhoons, we commit to ongoing R&D of and designing the window operators resistant to positive and negative wind pressure which not only work as the air windows to hike the air exchange rate by extracting the excessive heat and CO2 and bringing fresh air indoor in ordinary days but also serve as the smoke vents which actuate the window to open for smoke extraction in the event of a fire to give people more evacuation room; moreover, the exceptionally outstanding window operators resistant to negative wind pressure make them not only air windows / smoke vents but also resistant to typhoons during typhoon seasons.

In order to accomplish the purpose, we not only finished the storm testing i.e. positive wind pressure, watertight and airtight tests of the electric chain window operator SJ-85 requested by the client but also paid for the negative wind pressure testing with the testing strength by 4200 pa for negative wind pressure exceeding the positive wind pressure 3600pa ruled by law in the discretion, proving our products resistant to the negative wind pressure threat brought by the 17-class typhoon by offering the optimal residential protection to our users’ life and personal property.
